Emma holds a BA in Biology and Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Kalamazoo College. Driven by a deep interest in cognition, learning, and animal behavior—particularly in dogs—she pursued professional certification in dog training through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). To further expand her expertise, Emma earned a certification in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington. Combining academic training with hands-on experience, Emma brings a unique blend of scientific rigor and practical skill to the study of canine cognition. She is excited to contribute meaningfully to investigations into how dogs think, learn, and engage with the world around them!
