Stephanie Hargrave

PhD Student

For as long as she can remember, Stephanie has been fascinated by our canine companions. She earned an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree in biology, psychology, and environmental studies from the University of Central Florida. In combination with her time studying primate behavior as a research intern at the Duke Lemur Center and Central Florida Zoo, these experiences provided her with a well-rounded ethological and psychological background. Her experience working with dogs in a variety of settings from dog daycares and training facilities to shelters piqued her interest in dog behavior, cognition, and development. She is very excited to help contribute to our knowledge of canine cognitive abilities and aging!
